Door to Heaven is a short animation about an angel who has a confusion on the pulling door. She couldn't open the door until the man from the other side opened it and then said to her that "It's a pull....". The pull door idea came out when I saw someone done the same thing in university. I decided to use paradise as my theme to make the story more interesting. I really enjoy making this animation and like how this hilarious animation works with the paradise story.
For this project, Just Do It!, I get to choose an audio clip and animate the character given. The dialogue in the audio is “Don’t let your dreams be dreams… Just do it!”. I chose this audio clip because I wanted to do an exaggerated movement for the last dialogue. For this animation, I focus mainly on facial expression and body movement is secondary. To do facial expressions animation, I keep repeating the dialogue by saying word by word in front of a mirror and observing the movement of my mouth while animating the character. This way was really useful for me to animate the details of the mouth with every word.
